What we collect,
and what we do with it.

What we collect when you enquire

The quote, booking, contact and dealer forms ask for your name, phone number and email address, and depending on the form your vehicle, registration, preferred branch and date, and any photos you attach. You choose what to send — only the name, phone, email, branch and service are required.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is emailed to the branch that can do the work and copied to head office in Wairau Valley, and a record is kept on our server so nothing is lost if an email fails. It is used to answer you and to carry out the work. We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages people read and where visits come from, so we can tell whether a change to the site helped or hurt. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google a record of the pages you view, along with general information such as your approximate location, device and browser. It does not receive your name, phone number or anything you type into a form. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser settings — the site works either way.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while they are useful for the job and for any warranty claim that follows. Photos you send with a quote are kept with that enquiry. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless we need them for a warranty already in force.

Seeing or correcting your information

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email ziventfilm@gmail.com or call head office on 021 968 006 and we will deal with it. If you are not happy with how we handle a request you can raise it with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
