What do the PPF specifications mean?
PPF should be selected by finish, healing type, thickness and the area you want protected.
Healing Type
Heat-Healing or Self-Healing describes how fine surface marks can recover. TrackDay Premium is positioned with 3-second instant healing performance.
Gloss
Gloss shows the surface appearance. Clear PPF options are high gloss, while TrackDay Ghost is satin matt with lower gloss.
Thickness
Measured in µm and mil. Thicker film can give a stronger protection feel, but installation quality and coverage also matter.
Clear vs Satin Matt
Clear PPF keeps the original paint appearance. Satin matt PPF changes the look while adding protection.
Coverage
PPF performance depends on where it is installed. Full front protects the highest impact areas; full body protects more painted panels.
