Chip Dodge

Hold anywhere on the road — or the space bar — to close the gap. You cover ground faster up close and collect a great deal more damage. Grit chips and scratches paint; a rock dents the panel underneath. Film stops the first two outright and heals its own scuffs — it does not stop a rock moving metal, and the bill will say so.

Why the front

Stones do not land evenly.

Almost everything the road throws at you arrives at the front of the car: the bumper, the leading edge of the bonnet, the guards, the headlights and the mirrors. That is why the packages are built the way they are — full front covers the panels that actually collect chips, and full body exists for people who spend their lives on gravel.

TRACKDAY film is roughly 8 mil of urethane with a self-healing top coat: light scuffing lifts out with heat, and the film takes the hit the paint would have. It carries a ten-year warranty and comes off without touching the factory finish. The other half of the job is the glass.
