The company that made the film
stands behind it.
What every film fitted at a Zivent branch is covered for, for how long, and what happens if something goes wrong. The written terms are held at every branch and come with your invoice.
What is covered, for how long
The film is ours, so the warranty is the manufacturer's — not a distributor's promise passed down the line. These are the terms every Zivent branch fits under.
| Product | Used for | Warranty | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZV70 / ZV80 / ZV90 | Car window tinting | Lifetime | Bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and colour change |
| TrackDay PPF (six films) | Paint protection film | 10 years | Yellowing, cracking, peeling, bubbling and delamination |
| Balance / Sky / Dual Silver | Home, office and commercial glass | 10 years | Bubbling, peeling, cracking, delamination and colour change |
| Safety & security film | Holding broken glass together | 10 years | Bubbling, peeling, cracking and delamination |
| XI Forest Ultimate Coat | Ceramic coating | Ask the branch | Coating terms are confirmed at quote — they depend on the package it is fitted with |
A lifetime film warranty normally runs for as long as you own the vehicle — the written terms confirm the details. They come with your invoice and are held at every branch — ask to see them before you book if anything here is unclear.
One conversation, with the branch that fitted it
A warranty claim at a reseller goes shop → distributor → brand and can stall at any hop. Here it goes from your branch straight to the manufacturer, because they are the same company.
Contact the branch
Call, text or email the branch that did the work — the number is on your invoice and on the locations page. A photo of the problem helps.
The branch inspects
The installer looks at the panel or the glass, usually within days. Film faults — bubbling, peeling, cracking, colour change — are visible and quick to confirm.
Re-fit, no charge
A confirmed film fault is re-fitted at no cost, with film from the same production line. Head office backs the branch on it.
What a warranty is not: damage from an impact, an accident or a fence post is not a film defect — film absorbs stone chips, not gouges. Where the line sits is written into the terms your branch holds.
Ask for the terms in writing
Every branch has them. If you would rather read them first, say so in the enquiry and the branch sends them with the quote.
