Three things Teslas need
Soft factory paint
Tesla paint is thinner than most and marks easily. A front package on a new car saves the panels before the first chips land.
The glass roof
A Model Y roof is one large unshaded panel over your head. Sky film rejects 90% of infrared, which is the difference between a usable back seat and a hot one.
Range and comfort
Less cabin heat means less air conditioning, and on an EV air conditioning comes out of your range.
Before you book
Is the glass roof included in Full body?
No. Full body is every painted panel except the roof. The glass roof is $890 on its own, or add it to a package — it uses TrackDay Sky, a different film that rejects heat as well as protecting the glass.
Does Model 3 have a glass roof option?
Glass roof PPF at $890 is listed for Model Y only. If you have a Model 3 and want the roof done, ask and we will quote it.
How long will my car be with you?
A front package is three working days and full cover is five. Each panel is laid individually in a dust-free bay with the edges wrapped behind it, which is what makes them disappear.
Should I tint as well?
Most Tesla owners do both. PPF handles the paint, tint handles the cabin heat and UV. Doing them in the same visit saves you a second booking.
Same film, a different shape
